Message Board: Changes

Reflect on artistic experiences you have had throughout your life. Think about movies, photographs, paintings, sculptures, poems, literature, music, or other media. Now think about those that have changed you – those that have had such a lasting impression on you that you cannot forget it/them. Now think about how and why this happened…

What about this media was so impactful?

What was the subject matter of the media?

What was the concept of the media? What did it mean?

Why did this change you? How are you different now?

  2. The most influental art that has had an impact on my art would be my bff vanessa's. The subject of he media is me a lot and a lot of other cool things. It changed me because it made me see how if you really try and take the time to create art you can become very successful. Also, it influenced me to try and be as unique as possible when she took the pictures of me. <3

  3. Photographs, music, and poems I think have had the most impact on me because I write poems and take photography and listen to music everyday. I pay attention to what it's telling me, if it's sad or happy it makes me feel that way. I think it's changed my perspective on things and how feel about things.

  4. when it comes down to it, music, books, and some movies are what really impact my thinking. when i look at lyrics in my music, and i can connect myself with it. it reminds me of what i have felt at a certain time. and it reminds me of mistakes that i have made and how i will never make those mistakes again. one song that i will never forget is "gurdian angle" by the red jumpsuit apperatus. the reason why is because it reminds me a big mistake that i have made and how i will never make it again. one book that i will never forget is a book called "star dust" by Neil Gamen. it was the first book i actually liked and this book was the reason i love to read now. and movies just keep my entertainment =D

  5. The most recent artistic experience that i have had was about a couple weeks ago when i went to this amazing forest with a couple of my best friends to take pictures. The scenary and people of the photo was the impact, because the sun came out right when the photo was being taken so the light was perfect. Friendship is the subject matter, not only have i sturuggled with what real friendship is all my highschool career i really enjoyed that moment, cos those girls i went to the forest with are probably the most real people ive ever met, and were all going our seperate ways in life, but im sure well stay in contact. i just never appreciated a moment of taking a picture like that. and i want to make every shoot like that, super meaningful

  6. Most forms of art like photography and music has impacted me because of the emotions that come from them. Whether it's meant to be happy or sad, they can always change my mood or my way of thinking.

  7. I believe that people or memories could change you, but I don't that that seeing a picture or hearing a song could change you that much. Lyrics in a song can be impactful. The subject matter of the song were the lyrics.

  8. the aspect of the media that was so impactful was the amount of people it could and does reach, the subject matter varied for each media and the concept did as well. each part also means something different depending on the creator. it changed me because it gave me a different approach to different forms of media and now i see different ways to create medias.
